A pink Spandex body suit.

A green bowtie.

A diaper... with a bell.

A rather... absurd nose.

A trip through the universe.

Ferdinand the Magnificent was created by Nick Trotter in the MFA program at the Dell'Arte International School of Physical Theater in 2006. Much of the character was created in discussion and dialogue with master teacher  Ronlin Foreman. Originally performing in a trio with Annie Rosen and Will Howard, Ferdinand eventually went solo. He toured Chiapas and Tabasco in 2008 with Rudi Galindo and Clowns Without Borders. In 2009 he debuted in a partnership with Emperor Norton in a show produced by the comedy duo Third Base, a project created by Nick Trotter and Jerry Lee Wallace. He performed in the Dolly Wiggler Cabaret at the Calgary International Festival of Animated Objects in 2011. In 2016 he performed in the Boulder Fringe Festival in Boulder, Colorado.
